Copernicus is a publisher of well-established international journals with a focus on geo- and environmental sciences. All journals are open access, i.e., they are cost-free to readers and costs are instead borne by the authors. English Native Speaker for Language Copy-Editing (m/w)

Your Tasks

• Applying Copernicus’ policy of Lite Copy-Editing to our manuscripts: spelling, grammar, articles/prepositions, punctuation, and word-choice corrections
• Supporting non-English authors from around the world by improving their manuscripts and thereby achieving higher credibility in the scientific community

Your Profile

• You are a native English speaker with a passion for the language
• You have an education in linguistics/philology with a scientific background
• Your strengths include communication and responsibility
• You are proactive, committed, efficient, and thorough
• You are open-minded to new technological developments and tools
