EGU Topical Conferences: Conference Publication
Organizers of EGU Topical Conferences or of Meetings sponsored by the EGU are kindly invited to consider one or several of the following options for the distribution of the contributions presented at their events:
- The Programme Book includes all necessary information regarding the meeting, a detailed time schedule, and the programmes of the oral and poster sessions. This book is compiled and composed by EGU and printed in the style of the meeting.
- The Abstract Book includes the full text abstracts submitted for the meeting. This can be part of the Programme Book (smaller meetings) or published separately on paper or on CD-ROM (larger meetings). Thereby, the Abstract Book can be part of the EGU publication "Geophysical Research Abstracts"; otherwise the book or CD-ROM can be published in the style of the meeting.
- With regard to Proceedings we recommend three different options:
- to publish the proceedings as a stand-alone publication on paper and/or www and/or CD-ROM in the style of the meeting;
- to publish the proceedings as part of the EGU journal "Advances of Geosciences"
- or to publish the en bloc publication of the contributions in form of extended papers in a special issue of the appropriate EGU topical journal.
The Organizers should contact the EGU Production Office (production@copernicus.org) or the Editor-in-Chief of the respective journals in-time with regard to the above options, respectively.
