Style, Layout and Format of Abstracts and Submittal Information

1. Abstract Style

Abstracts should be short, clear, concise and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure. Mathematical symbols and equations must be typed in, and metric symbols should be used. Figures should not be included!

Follow this example in preparing your abstract. Type all lines flush left(!) (1) Type title of contribution in capital letters and in bold (optional). (2) Leave one blank line after the title block. (3) Type author(s) followed directly by abbreviation (number/symbol) of corresponding affiliation.  Type corresponding affiliations in next line and add e-mail or fax number in the next line. (4) Leave one blank line after the author- and- affiliation block. (5) Type text of abstract flush left and right (justified). Mathematical symbols should be typed in. Metric (SI) symbols be used.

 


3. Team Form

In case a presentation has more than 10 authors, we advise the contact author to use the name of the presenting author plus an abbreviation of the team of co-authors, e.g. A.  Aman and/ for the COSIS TEAM, and submit the name of the team and the list of the co-authors of that team separately.  These team forms are included in all online abstract submission forms (options 1 and 2).
