SE9: Combined geophysical and geochemical approaches to study mid-ocean ridges

Knowledge of thermal structure, composition rate of upwelling and degree of partial melting of the upper mantle beneath Mid Ocean Ridge can be best acquired by a combined geophysical and geochemical approach to the study of ridges. For instance, variations in the chemistry of basaltic glass can be related to variations of topography and gravity along Mid Ocean Ridges. We call on papers that use this multidisciplinary approach to study Mid Ocean Ridges.
