This session will be concerned with all kinds of observations of the electromagnetic field (observatory or field sites), and electromagnetic sounding studies in the Alpine-Mediterranean regions (primarily observations of natural electromagnetic field and related phenomenons). Theoretical studies of electromagnetic induction in complex geological terranes (2D and 3D geoelectic structures) are welcomed.
Contributions are sought which describe research of the crust and upper mantle conductivity with emphasize on mobile Alpine-Mediterranean belts and analogous regions. Studies may be of any scale but should highlight use of independent geological and geophysical information for interpretation (mainly from geodynamics, seismology and heat flow studies).
