Sorry, the absolute deadline for
receipt of abstract was 15 January 2003, 24:00 GMT.
In case of an emergency, contact the corresponding
Convener(s), who will now finalize his/her (their) Session(s)/Event(s) (further
upload, acceptance/rejection/transfer of papers and compilation of
oral-poster sessions) before the Programme Committee will finalize the
overall programme of the Assembly.
Payment of abstract fees is, in general, by
invoice; however, you also may login yourself into COSIS (www.cosis.net),
click "Membership, Subscriptions + Accounts" in the
"Personal Records" Box on your Personal COSIS Home Site and
study your accounts/account history with regards to abstract fees.
Abstract Publication
The abstracts of a Session/Event accepted
by the corresponding Session/Event Organizers or the Programme
Committee, will be uploaded for the public in a citable,
journal-style format of the journal 'Geophysical Research Abstracts'
(GRA) under the heading "Accepted Contributions" below the
respective title of the session title in the conference programme.
This will happen between 28 January - 03 February 2003.
Once the final conference programme has been
finalized by 17 February 2003, the abstracts will be published in
the Abstract Book CD-ROM 'Geophysical Research Abstracts' Volume 5,
2003.
Abstracts submitted by the ASCII/LaTeX Form are
ready for publication straight away, since only the author has been
responsible for their content.
Abstracts submitted by the DOC-upload Form,
by e-mail or by Hard Copy have been edited by the
Conference Secretariat. Authors of such abstracts are kindly invited
to proof-read their abstracts under "Accepted
Contributions" and inform the Secretariat by 14 February
2003 at the very latest about any mistakes that may have been
introduced into their text because of the composing/editing
procedure (egs.abstracts@copernicus.org).
Please, state the Abstract Number! No changes or additions to the
abstract as such!
Abstracts submitted or uploaded by the
Session/Event Organizer without any abstract, i.e. by session
- and - title only, can be recognized by their Abstract Number not
being "active" for the selection of the text of the
abstract or by the insert "Text of abstract not
available". Only authors of such papers may submit their
abstracts with the ASCII/LaTeX Form only by a full COSIS
login and by providing the Abstract Number. The deadline for this
option is 14 February 2003. An abstract fee of 15 EUR will be
levied.
Finally, any author may change his/her
abstract with the ASCII/LaTeX Abstract Update/Correction Form
until 14 February 2003. If only the Submittal Information is
changed, no abstract fee will be levied; however, for any changes
concerning the abstract, an abstract fee of 15,- EUR will be
charged. Only changes in the sense of a "galley-proof"
will be allowed but not fundamental changes regarding the content of
the abstract.
