Exhibition and Promotion Information

Companies, organizations, institutes or departments are invited to:

Details of each item are included in the Exhibition and Promotion Order Form which has to be completed and duly returned to the EGS Office by the deadline date.

1. Exhibition

Exhibition Time Schedule

Exhibitors are expected to build up their display on Monday and to pull it down on Friday.
The official opening of the exhibition is on Monday evening during the first poster session.
The exhibition will then be open from Tuesday - Thursday, 09:00 - 19:30.

Booths

Each booth will consist of gray lacquered aluminum sections with white melanin coated panels on 3 sides and a front panel composed of a gray aluminum frame containing a white melanin coated panel with the exhibitor's name (not more than 20 letters, Helvetica Medium, 100 mm high), blue carpeting, single phase earthed 1000 W - 220 V electricity supply with one 10/16 A socket, and a rail with three 75 W spotlights. 

Furniture & Co.

The list of additional furniture and equipment will be distributed to those exhibitors that will have signed the contract for a booth and returned it to the EGS Office in time.

2. Advertisements

The European Geophysical Society accepts adverts in form of original black-and-white print outs or positive films for inclusion in the Programme Book of the General Assembly at the following sizes:

1. Full size:           17.7 cm (width) x 24.0 cm (height)
2. Half size:          17.7 cm (width) x 12.0 cm (height)
                               8.5 cm (width) x 24.0 cm (height)
3. Quarter size:      8.5 cm (width) x 12.0 cm (height)
