Event Information

The session provides a forum for discussions of recent developments in the study of physical processes over the continental shelf, shelf break and continental slope. Special attention will be given to material and energy exchanges provided by currents, eddies, filaments, tides, surface and internal waves. Presentations of inter-disciplinary research linked to bio-geo-chemistry are welcome. A few subsessions are foreseen dealing with regional studies such as the baltic, black and mediterranean seas, atlanic and arctic seas, as well as theory and modelling of sediment transport and morphodynamics.
