Event Information

This session will provide an overview of the state-of-the-art in Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP). Invited speakers only will discuss recent advances and on-going research in different aspects of NWP affecting short, medium and seasonal time scales (data assimilation, numerical methods, physical processes, predictability, coupled ocean-atmosphere models). Possible future developments in limited area and global NWP will be discussed.
