Event Information

This session invites papers from all areas of magnetospheric physics. At the millenium meeting, the magnetospheric community is eagerly waiting for the launch of the Cluster II mission, which with its multipoint measurements will advance our understanding of especially the mesoscale dynamic processes. However, there are a wealth of new results from the existing (ISTP and other) missions and from ground-based observations, which deal with processes in a variety of scales, ranging from microscale to the global scale. We especially encourage authors to put their new results in the context of setting challenges to the Cluster mission.
