Exhibition and Promotion Information

Companies, organizations, institutes or departments are invited to:

• participate in the General Assembly Exhibition with their own stand or by renting a booth,
• insert an advertisement in the Meeting Programme Book
• place a "flyer" in the conference folders.

Details of each item are included in the Exhibition and Advertisement Order Form, which has to be completed and duely returned to the EGS Office by the deadline date.

1. Exhibition (by Invitation only)

Exhibition Time Schedule

Exhibitors are expected to build up their display on Monday and to pull it down on Saturday  morning.
The official opening of the exhibition is on Monday evening during the Icebreaker Reception.
The exhibition will then be open from Tuesday - Friday, 09.00 - 18.30.

Booths

Each booth will consist of gray lacquered aluminum sections with white melanin coated panels on 3 sides and a front panel composed of a gray aluminum frame containing a white melanin coated panel with the exhibitor's name (not more than 20 letters, Helvetica Medium, 100 mm high), blue carpeting, single phase earthed 1000 W - 220 V electricity supply with one 10/16 A socket, and a rail with three 75 W spotlights. 

Exhibition Space

Will include the normal floor without carpets and 1 main connection/use of electricity, max. 1000 Watt and 1 double wall socket.

Furniture & Co.

The list of additional furniture and equipment will be distributed to those exhibitors that will have signed the contract for a booth or for exhibition space and returned it to the EGS Office in time.

2. Advertisements

The European Geophysical Society accepts adverts in form of original black-and-white print outs or positive films for inclusion in the Programme Book of the General Assembly at the following sizes:

1. Full size:           17.4 cm (width) x 25.4 cm (height)
2. Half size:          17.4 cm (width) x 12.7 cm (height)
                                8.5 cm (width) x 25.4 cm (height)
3. Quarter size:     8.5 cm (width) x 12.7 cm (height)

3. Flyers

The European Geophysical Society accepts "flyers" or leaflets of the size of max. A4 and of less than 10 pages for inclusion in the conference folders of the participants of the General Assembly.  Amount 4000 pieces.
